I convinced a local nursery to order this one when i saw it on his suppliers list. Finally he got one in and it and at quite a price , so after some haggling I caved and it came home with me today.

According to Brian 'Very rare and hard to find . Very hard to tell from the Mac form until fully grown was introduced a few years back I believe by Alan Galloway'. That's about all I know so far, although I did find one reference somewhere on line that says it has more peltate leaves (Having the stalk attached away from the margin of a leaf, and often in the center of it.)
It seems to be more sturdy than the A. Mac. Var. and has an unusual bend in the stalks but this may be just how this plant was grown.
If anybody has more info I'd appreciate it.

Thanks Neil
