I have decided after looking again at the first pic, that your bulbil is not a crinum- yours sems to have some sort of layers over it, mine are smooth. I never saw these before, because I always deadheaded the spent blooms. I wonder how big they will get!!! I will wait til they start to shrivel or turn brown before I pick them.
