If anyone else has recent pics from end of Aug to early Sept, I'll love to see what survived for y'all. August seems to be the killer month for me. If it makes it past that, it's a keeper. This is black and blue salvia, Jo Barbre yellow daylilies in front, pink buttergly bush behind the salvia and an esperanza, perillas and vitex in the rear of the bed. Once the esperanza and vitex get a little larger, I'm thinking this color and texture combo will look really pretty. All these plants were newly planted, most in May.
