I decided today that I wanted to grow my minis that I have inside in natural light instead of artificial light so I put up a shelf in my window and put them on that. I'm beginning to see a bit of a difference between the ones growing in natural light and those grown in artificial light. When I first got my greenhouse and moved the others outside they started to all look really bad. I was so upset over this and decided to just give up on my AVs. I have not done anything with them in over a week. But today I decided to clean up the greenhouse and throw all of the bad ones away. Boy did I get the shock of a lifetime! All of them had done a 180 and were growing like I've never seen them grow before. They all look so lush and green and I was shocked. I thought they would all be dead by now. I guess they had to get used to natural light and once they did they started to grow, grow, grow. I am so happy with them now. I have more space babies than I know what to do with. I had put down at least a dozen leaves of EverGrace a few months ago and they had done really well. I totally forgot about them and found them hiding under one of my shelves today. They have grown so much that they had pushed a few of the pots up to give them more room to grow. Now I have a big job of repotting all of them. But I'm so happy with all of my AVs now and I can't believe I just wanted to throw them all away. They sure did make me look like a dummy. I will never doubt all my AV sweeties again.

I took a photo of my minis on the new shelf in my livingroom. The photo does not do them justice. I took dozens of photos of them trying to get them to look just right but the flash is bouncing off the white blinds and makes them look a little washed out. But they are all so cute, to me anyway.
