I didn't realize there was a Borsigiana form of the monstera. I have three of the large monstera's indoors in 12-16" pots. All of them grow a single new leaf every month and a half or so, fairly slow growers - but BIG leaves. But the smaller monstera's will put out 4-8 leaves a month; they grow really fast. To date I haven't had any with the common "window holes" seen in the larger monstera's despite leaving them outside all summer. My smaller ones got decimated by mites/aphids last winter indoors and almost died off. I put them outside this spring and they came roaring back and are now quite large in newly repotted 14" square containers. I'll have to do more research on the Borsigiana form though. That might explain why my plants look so different. I have one that looks exactly like the photo Badseed posted above. Below is a photograph of one of my larger ones. I brought one back from Hawaii this year too, and it is definitely the larger variety. My wife is about to shoot me for all these large plants in our apartment.
