Honestly, I'm perfectly happy with just the foliage, but I am curious as to ID ... to me it looks like Lemon Ginger (Monocostus uniflorus) http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/63935/index.html which needs more sun than this one currently gets (not that I'm moving it, I like it where it is).

Also, if he keeps reproducing at the current rate, I'm going to have do some separation (it's in a population control area) -- when the pups are so close to the mom, how does one separate without risking damage to mom?
