I get the squrrels come up the fire escape ..with their nuts and burry them in my containers.. I get a bout a pound or so every year as I move the soil about in the spring.. I figure the Coon cameup the sameway.the local park has only a playgrounds.. and a large asphalt baseballl area... and a bacci court..and a few large trees.. I do have a little pond.. perhaps the only one for blocks..and coons like water... to wash in and wash their food.. so perhaps he's here for that also The dayafter I postedhispicture.. I againleft the roof door open... and on returnning.. just afterdark.. i saw he was in the house again...down the stair.. and into the kitchen.. he ate all of the cats dry food there.. and opened the lower cabinet and got into a bunch of the Ramen ..chineese noodles...ripped a few packs up.. and tookacouple of packs to the roof...where he opened them ..but didn't seem to eat them.. Thefirstpicture I posted was taken with a flash... these weretaken with along exposure.. he wasn't moving much at all.. so the pictures came out ok..he was just transfixed... staring at me Gordon |
