You know, I think there is a theory or two being circulated that there is more than one 'Aztec Gold.' It's quite possible that some seedlings of 'Aztec Gold' are being circulated as 'Aztec Gold.' For example, some 'Aztec Gold's' have an upright growth habit, and others have a weeping growth habit. The real 'Aztec Gold' is supposed to have a thick pink stripe on the buds and back of the petals, but I've seen pics posted by people with no pink stripe at all. I think there could definitely be some imposters being circulated.
