The rocks and hard clay are bad enough....but trying to remove rooted bermuda pallets over that stuff is even harder. I actually built my last bed by scooting all over the dirt and hacking sideways at the pallets...phew...almost killed me! I guess I'll have to get a pickaxe...that definitely may help. If I do make a raised bed...I'm just wondering how I would be able to get that plastic edging around it...since I like rounded edges and circular patterns.. |
