We dont get alot of rain here in Vegas but the thunderstorms and lightening shows here are unbelievable. And with not as many trees to attrack the lightning houses are hit more.
Our house there is already well grounded. My next door neighbor is a lineman for Duke Power and this past July he came over and made sure that everything was correct. He has also offered to set up our generator if we go that route.

I started a journal to help remind me of the weather and events during this year so I can have something to look back at later to help me.

X, I do plan on a trip to Charleston hopefully the first summer that we are there, and thanks for the offer.

Tulips, lilacs, peonies, hosta's, and so many more plants that I have only been able to drool over will soon be able to be mine. I cant wait.
