Morning all. I couldn't get on last night either. Tried several times and got dumped so I finally gave up.

Not much planned for the day, but should tackle the inside of the house, dust bunnies are starting to take over.

Elaine, I called the 800# that was on the jar of vidalia onion relish, what a nice company! Their minimum order is four jars, so I'm doing early Christmas shopping, but the price was very reasonable and so was the shipping! Maybe I can get some other folks addicted to it and increase their business. The woman who took the order said "We'll send it out today" I asked if they didn't want a credit card number or anything, and she said no, they'd pack an invoice in with the order!! Imagine that!! I thank you for introducing me to that yummy relish! I used the last bits on a hot dog for lunch!

Somermoone, the pic is from two little French Lavender plants that I started last year. It has self seeded along this sidewalk, to the point that I've had to take some up and give it away. Does the French have as much scent as the English? This doesn't seem to be very fragrant. Also, I definitely would count the cherries in that pie, Ernie sometimes tries to put one over on us, and there could be only 750, and how would we know?

Darius, I think Gracie does look a wee bit preggers, can you palpate her tummy and see if anything is kicking inside there? She's a lovely color gray, and has a sweet face. I don't imagine your cat thinks much of her. We've had a sea change since Olivia joined us, Souky has begun to play with her, which is a first as she's been aloof from the others since we got her. Hasn't quite reached the point where she'll sleep in a heap with the crew but just playing is a big step for her.

Bonnie, whether I call it dinner or supper depends on what I make! If I do the works, and not just a pizza or a light meal, it becomes dinner. If it's thrown together or leftovers or such, it's just supper. I think there's a difference between the rural and urban names for it, when I was a child it was always supper. Sunday midday was dinner, and we lived mostly among farmers, so I suspect that's where that came from.

It's cool and bright here this morning, and I hope it stays that way. I like having doors and windows open in spite of the pollen or whatever is making me clog up.

Who asked about garage sales? Here it seems they are starting them on Thursday and then run through the weekend. By Saturday the items are pretty well picked over. I stopped at one a couple weeks ago on my way home from golf, and the woman must have sold Avon because there was two tables full of product. Some very old. I paid fifty cents for a tube of Silicone Glove hand cream which I used to use and can't get any more, and it was still good. Most of what you see in the subdivisions are kid's toys and clothing. I'd rather hit the estate sales, except the ones run by professionals where you have to take a number, stand in line, and wait to go in. Some people, who I think are dealers, line up for those hours before they open. I think they buy to resell the items in their stores.

Tried to post this earlier but DG was doing weird stuff and I quick copied it so all was not lost, so I'm picking up where I left off.

No idea what to do with a sticky keyboard, one of my kids spilled coke on an electric typewriter years ago, and had to take it in to have it cleaned up. Any thing that would dissolve the sugar would probably not be good for the keyboard.

Cherie, when we were the first house built in the subdivision, a hot air balloon came down here, and I got pictures! I haven't even been outside this morning but doubt we could see them from here.

Hope, whatever pie is just out of the oven is my favorite! Since I've made breakfast and cleaned up the kitchen already, it's time to go see what's been growing overnight. ~~~ to all, have a great day, and I'll see you all later.
