After seeing the pic of Dave's landscaping job - LOL - snort --- I have this tree that came with my house (see pic). I want an excuse to pull it out and replace it with a tea camilla I bought that needs a protected, south-facing wall. (It is good to zone 7 and I am 6b.) I feel guilty about even thinking about destroying the tree as it is healthy - but - I really want that camilla. Can anyone tell me that it will someday grow big enough to threaten the foundation of my house - or that eagles nest in that kind of tree and all the cats in the neighborhood will be eaten by the eagles trying to feed their young or something else that will allow me to get rid of it without major guilt? OR - better yet - if I can sell it to a landscaper for $$$ to pay for my garden habit. OR, as I suspect, that I am an ungrateful person for trying to kill a healthy tree.
