I find this is a very fussy hoya to grow. For two years I had a 2 leaf plantlette with a peduncle...it bloomed like a madwoman but never grew. So...(hold on to something, friends....) I cut the peduncle OFF...and it started to grow. DL says it doesn't seem to like a lot of airflow...so maybe that is why it started growing when I tucked it behind the bamboo .... ?
