It's four and a half feet tall, has four rings and four legs, and the metal must be 1/8 inch thick, its incredibly sturdy. I just put two of them into 6 inch pots of magnifica and calycina, vigorous growers both. I stuck them into the soil as is, and although they are a little top-heavy, I put the plastic pot down into a heavy clay pot to keep it from "accidentaly" tipping over. By accidentaly I mean cats, of course. It cost $5, which when all is said and done is about half the money and trouble of plasticizing the ends of bamboo U's and rigging them up. Looks very modern as opposed to the more tropical looking bamboo, and I'm speculating that the vines might twine around it easier as it is a good bit thinner than the large bamboo U's. Only drawback, don't even thing about cutting it without a hacksaw. |
