Even if the nutrients in the water were enough, your plant isn't even getting those- they're in a pot that doesn't exactly have circulating water. If you are planting in a soil medium, they'll get some nutrients from that. I guess you have to ask yourself how nice a plant you want? They'll survive, for some time I would say, without it, but why would you want them just surviving? |
