"Well, we've got to get your addiction off to a good start," she said. I'd say she did just that, wouldn't you?! The big one in back on the left is a white suavolens, in from of it is an Isabelle, on the right from front to back is: Jutner Orange, Frosty Pink and Ecuador Pink. They're all settled in after their long trip. I'm SO EXCITED!! Oh happy-happy, joy-joy!!!!!
My new babies from Cala!
5 down 200 more to go. LOL
I agree - Gloria is absolutely 100% correct.
and you'll never stop hearing "a brug? just what you needed!!"
You mean I have to stop at 200? (she says sadly...) I have the greenhouse (Yippeee!) ~ about 250 square feet. The brug babies are sitting on a table in front of the wall we'll be taking out soon to add on another 200 square feet to the west side of the greenhouse. Then another 150 or 200 on the east side and we'll be done! And ready to start greenhouse number 2! LOL! It doesn't get all that cold in this part of Texas, but I like to see real green in January so plan on filling the g-house with brugs (of course!), hibiscuses, plumeria, vanilla vine (if I can find one of those!), and anything else I can find. ;-)
You are going to have so much fun with all your plants and a greenhouse too. Enjoy!!
Oh yeah - I can see brugs in your future - lots of brugs - you still have table space. Lucky person!
Did you know that Ecuador Pink is Tonny's favorite brug?
I love the Ecuador Pink too. I think a pale yellow (that doesn't turn orange) would be lovely too.
My favorite brugs are the ones in my greenhouse! Thanks again, Cala!!! You've hooked another victim... "Hi, my name is Linda and I'm a Brugaholic." Or should that be Brugmaniac? I think the Ecuador Pink sure is beautiful, but then again the Frosty is gorgeous, but there's lots to say about pure white elegance, but then there's always been a toss-up for me between peachy pink and golden yellow for favorite color, then again... ;-)
BTW, I just got back inside from checking on them (again! *grin*). The Isabelle's little head is standing up straighter and they all look great! Yep, obsessed already. *tee-hee*
Isabella is a superb seed setter and great repeat bloomer as well. Of course the Ecuador pink, while it is a bit slow, is great for adding pink to a hybrid in my experience.
Wing!! you've got it! Forever to be known as a Brugmaniac!!! that's me:)
OH, I just love spreading this addiction!! Yep, we've got another one hooked.
Yep! Firmly hooked! Just went out to the g-house to check the temp and thought it was too chilly, so I brought them in the house (*sheepish grin*). Gotta' get a bigger heater tomorrow!
Wingnut, my green house gets to 45*F at night. (that's the lowest some of the passifloras can take) and they are blooming. Don't pamper them too much, they will become spoiled children!!
