Had to call DH and he came over to haul plants home. One of the small shrubs was called Escalonia...said it was from Brazil, looks like an azaelea, flowers were orange (so I thought about your color scheme), hardy to 25...will come back if heavily mulched, gal. size $5.99. When I got to the ck out, guy said those were on sale for $2.99. I may go back and get a few more for that price! Going to send pic of it for you. I looked it up in plant files, but what was there didn't look like what I bought. The joys of buying plants without tags.
