Can anyone tell me what this plant is? I bought it a few years ago at Schumacher's in New Bruanfels. There was no marker and this was the only one left. The flowers are brilliant red and about 2" wide. They only last one day like a regular hibiscus. Have a seed pod that develops lots of seeds. I haven't tried to grow them, but have given the seeds to others. The best thing about plant besides being beautiful, reliable bloomer, is the deer leave it alone.....so far.
