Tea Tree, your weather sounds wonderful and ideal for plumies! It's great to have you here! I agree with you that I would rather have perfume over color, but a garden filled with both is even better! LOL! There is a really sweet lady named Shazz in Australia over at Pals. She has a link over at http://www.plumerias.com called Shazz's Travels. Check it out if you get a chance. She is a big plumeria lover too. Maybe you guys can hook up on one of her travels if she comes your way. I know Australia is a big place, but she gets around!

Brad, my first TW bloom is opening today! Yay! I did detect a very slight sweet fragrance. If you are in need of a sweet smelling plumie, Brad, I will set you up. Just send me a d-mail and tell me where to ship, my dear. Seed pods can take as long as nine months to ripen. They turn brown, crack open, and the seeds scatter into the wind so you are wise to re-wrap them with pantyhose. You just don't want them to get wet and stay wet for any length of time because they can get moldy and turn to mush.
