This is my wisteria in 2004, it bloomed the year after it split in a storm and I patched it with a clamp and duct tape. Since then in 2005 it got about 3 blooms on it and this year it is healthier than ever but only one bloom? My local gardener says I should trim it in July, not in the fall. I try to keep up with it when I can as it grows into the surrounding trees and gets runners miles long. I know they blossom from last years' growth and I don't trim it back that much, any ideas on why so few blooms?
