LOL Great news that the seller will pick Bruce up. Maria, your clock is wonderful. I'm sure it's a minor miracle that it arrived intact. But what a great piece to have. Does it work? Sarv - great buy on the oblisk. I wouldn't argue with a manager either. I still say, you Yankees don't know what high gas prices are. Good for you, passing up on the drive through. We have until the end of April to finish off taxes in Canada. I guess the crunch is now on. Elaine, glad you made progress against the monster. I need to start battling it here. I think many Canadians cook outside and eat inside. Extends the BBQ season a lot. Plus half the summer or more, we have those pesky mosquitos. Darius, hope you get the camper. Hi Molly. Hope you get the rest of those DL's listed. The meatloaf sounds good. Haven't made one of those for a long time. Hi Babs, Glad you got Easter off and had a good family celebration. It is indeed a blessing to have a mom who at that age is able to keep up and contribute to a family gathering. So many of our elderly relatives are with us only in body. You are also blessed to have a great niece like that when you hear of so many who resist step-mothers. And I bet with the family support that she's obviously getting that she'll grow up to be a terrific young woman. Lauri - so glad to hear that Salsa is home and doing better. Bonnie, sounds like you had a busy day yesterday. Mary, glad your ride went well though it would have been nicer with better weather. This is getting long. So I'm going to attach a picture and send it. Then I'll pick up where I left off. For those who requested it, here's the Porsche just after DH and a friend got it down to ground level and put the battery in it. It now occupied the other half of the garage; so my car sits out on the driveway all summer. Ann |
