Well it should do well in your area in a shady area try to keep it from getting over 100F in full sun with no humidity you will see the leaves wilt up. I would suggest treating it about like Alocasia Macorrhiza which was one of the parents to the plant. If you can grow a bit close to water or a damp area it may help with humidty.
