Gee Brigitte, I have never heard of doing that with clivia. Are you thinking of amaryllis? They kind of look the similar. I know very little about clivia. I have had some in my backyard that have grown there with no care for 30 years. I rarely even water them and never water them on purpose. They are so easy in my zone. I understand the seeds do best when they are real fresh!

I found a new variegated plant I am just dying for. It is found only in 1 nursery in England though. I am so stymied. Hey Santa..........
