Kell wrote: Oh shoot, no it is not Dr. Moy. Dr. Moy has a totally different flower. http://www.plantdelights.com/Catalog/Fall/Detail/02711_2.htm... For those variegated plant nuts out there, here comes a true breakthrough. From retired plant breeder, Dr. Moy of the San Antonio Botanic Gardens, comes this new hybrid (probably H. flavum x coccineum) with white paint-like speckles covering the otherwise green foliage. In September, the clumps are topped with fragrant, peachy orange flowers with a darker orange throat... exquisitely fragrant! PLEASE find out the name of yours, Carol!! I will be on the hunt. LOL The Dr. Moy I saw had a lot more variegation than the ones I am seeing on google as Dr. Moy. Here is one I may go get today. |
