Some people still sell arborea seeds that grow up to be white suaveolens lookalikes. Hopefully when you receive the seeds you can tell for sure by looking at the seedcoat if it is really a suaveolens seed or a true arborea seed. A couple of months ago I bought arborea seeds for a friend from that auction place. I knew if anyone could tell the difference at first glance he would be able to. Doggone it ... The seeds he got were pre-peeled! ha! lol! He never peels his seeds to germinate and neither one of us knows if there is a difference between the actual seed kernels. Can you set a suaveolens seed kernel side by side with an arborea kernel and tell them apart? I don't know the answer. Does anyone else? The arborea seedling I grew in 1998-1999. This is what you might get today. |
