Here's another moonlit spot begging for a brug. I'm posting 3 woodcuts of it done over a period of 124 years of the same place: Shinobazu Pond in the Ueno suburb of Tokyo (once known as Edo). It was destroyed in WWII, and its spirit doesn't live on as well in post-war reconstruction as it does in Paul Binnie's woodcut late in the 20th century.

Am including the first one for context. Can’t you imagine a brug blooming in all its nightly splendor, somewhere in the moonlit gardens of Shinobazu Pond as portrayed in these woodcuts?
