Here is another shot from a different angle. I am not kidding when I show you these and tell you this. People have slept in their cars overnight for gas. Then they may only buy $2 worth. Rule of thumb (in our house) is if you get to 3/4 of a tank you fill up. Our island has only 4 square miles of livable/public land. The rest is Fish and Wildlife. So to us a tank will last in our Suzuki Vitari about a month. We also have a truck which we rarely use (for plant hauling) which is always kept full and we have 20 gallons spare for our generator for power outages. So we do ok. PS... It does not hurt to have a neighbor run one of the gas stations :o)) Hubby has never siphoned gas but he have to learn how to some day :) |
