They are similar and not many people can tell them apart infact most people cannot tell them apart at all. The reson is Monstera Dubia looks exactly like Rhaphidophora cryptantha shown above when juvinal but as the monstera grows up its leaves change dramatically usually at about 6 feet tall. Also they are found on the oposite ends of the world. The Rhaphidophora cryptantha will never change leaf forms. Here is a pic of the monstera changing from juvinal to mature leaves.
