I got the headboard at a garage sale for $1. Had to have it. I have seen so many DG'ers that have made flower beds by using them. I had 3 EE's that I had in pots, that wasn't doing so good. Everytime they put on a new leaf I would loose a leaf. So I decided to plant them in the ground. The very smallest one closes to the headboard was in a gal. jug cut length wise with about 2 inches of soil. Since putting it in the ground it has really come alive. The other two were in 12 inch pots and when I removed them from there pot they were really root bound. I got the help of my husband this week-end and we put the timbers around the EE's and attached the headboard to them. I think it turned out really nice.
