The hollyhocks are in full plumage now, what a delightful sight, and the other day I noticed a flock of poppies like I had never seen or planted before. Something from a trade or maybe NARG purchase. Granddaughters 8th birthday was fun. Son barbecued marinated flank steaks, had a wonderful mixed bean melange and all the trimmings.Now he's hanging out in Pittsburg for the week doing something for work.Poor guy has to travel all over the world at company expense.lol The Ceonothis in front of my window is reaching about 7 feet now.Have to shape it again this fall. They are so beautiful when in bloom,but as with so many things,are too short lived.Yesterday I got the last post and the two rails installed on the arbor fence. Now comes the tedious part of dadoing the 2X2 lattice every 12 inches and fitting them all together in a 10 foot long by 4 foot high pattern. Well a guy has to have something to do to keep him out from under foot. Now time to shower,dress in real clothes and head into town to do some Credit Union business. Hate banks,haven't done business with them for decades.Hope everyone has a great day, and the heat stays at an enjoyable level.
