Karrie20x wrote: THANK YOU!!!! I was thinking it had to be a boo boo! Because mine is in it's first year, the leaves are humungo, and the plant is very wide. It is - hold on - I am going to measure this. It is 19 inches tall (from top of soil) and 32 inches wide (I was wrong on it before, as I was not measuring, just looking from up above and it looks big). I just repotted it though, and always repot a little deeper each time. I think I started these cuttings in December of 2004. They have been one of my fastest growers - competing with a Whiskers. It really looks like it has much more to offer me - more leaves shooting out of the top. I just treated it with Messenger on Saturday afternoon so hopefully it will grow taller. No matter how tall it grows, it is already too wide to put in the spot I had planned - unless it took a standard tree form and grew much taller with less foliage on the trunks. Even then, the way the two trunks Y out I couldn't tell. I may have to think of a better place for her but where I'd planned, she would have been the lime light. She is such a gorgeous plant. She needs a place to show off but be protected from elements as well (I'm so picky about this). Here's a pic I just took tonight. |
