The ceiling supports hadn't dried out, the carpet still hadn't dried out, and they discovered a new wet spot on the other side of the wall, in my living room (I wouldn't even have thought about moving the furniture that was there to check.) They brought in another blower, sprayed some more mildewcide, and will be back tomorrow mid-morning, hopefully to pack up these blowers and put a temporary cover over the hole in the ceiling. The AC people are also due tomorrow morning, it will be nice to have some cool air again. I'm VERY thankfull that my insurance people are all about taking care of this fully, and correctly. I've been extremely impressed with everyone's professionalism - and that they won't let me do any moving or lifting myself (I still can't do much, due to my back problem.)

This is certainly an opportunity to once and for all clear out any clutter in my bedroom. Everything has to come out when the contractor finally starts doing the work. One of the things they will do is clean, spot-treat, and re-stretch my carpet (and replace some of the pad.) I'm looking roward to that!
