Sarv48, have you tried salt on that cranberry stain - its pretty good on red wine. Also Oxyclean is marvellous. DH had the bottom drop out of a wine carrier with 6 litre bottles in it - all red. They all broke and the carpet was brand new 0 we had been in the house a week!! I mopped up the surplus, threw a ton of salt on it and dashed to the store for Oxy. Came back and vacuumed out the salt which had got a lot of it, then followed the instructions on the Oxy pack. Stain all came out and there was no return or residual smell.
M5 glad your going to do the eye thing- its a worry till its over but think of being able to see properly again. It'll take years off you!
Sorry that endurance ride came to grief Mary, but glad you got the horse before she hurt herself.
MyBig Bend trip was great - I took 200 photos! When I get them sorted I'll post one or two, but here is a road runner to keep the memory alive. Some people puzzle me, why drive all that way, its 100 miles from the back of nowhere to get there, then zoom round at 60 mph across dirt roads, scaring off the wild life and throwing up a cloud of dust so you can't see anything anyway? People!!
