I do have a dog, but he can sleep longer in the morning than my hubby and I can. We are usually up around 5:30-6:00 am. I wish I could sleep in, but I'm afraid it is an old habit after having to get up and go to work each morning for 35 years. Old habits do die hard. I don't mind though, especially in the spring and summer. The mornings are my favourite time of the day, so fresh and peaceful; just me and the birds! In mid summer here in the BC interior, it is usually the best time to get any gardening done, before the temperatures start to rise too high.
