Hi everyone, Sarv, we will help you eat those forbidden cookies! Bring 'em on! Pass that Logee's catalog over here, please. Take a look at this bronze leafed begonia on the back cover, wow, how unusual. I have seen them in several other colors and varigated but this one is a show stopper. I also see some Orchids, do any of you grow them? I have one in my greenhouse that belongs to my daughter-in-law, it was going to bloom and I accidently broke the tip off the flower stem, so I am hoping it will forgive me. I never thought I could grow orchids, but maybe I will have to get one of my own..... they are kind of spendy tho. On the other hand, so is the little lemon tree I want. Even if I never got lemons the blooms would be so fragrant and make the greenhouse smell wondereful.

Lambing info: I have been working there about 12 years now. I love the little guys, and they get frisky very fast. When a ewe has more than twins we take the extra lamb(s) and graft them on to another ewe who only has one. To do this we put them in a small pen and put the ewe's head in a stancion so she can't object too much when the lambs nurse. After a few days the grafted lamb smells just like her own lamb and she is used to having 2, so can usually be turned out without any problem. We watch them carefully for a couple of days to make sure she still loves them both. If we can't do a graft there is a neighbor who takes the extras and bottle raises them. Here are some pictures. This first little one is just about 15 minutes old, has got gotten to his feet and is wondering if the lunch counter is on this end.......
