Ramming is running the roads be they paved or dirt, Dirt is better cause then there's nobody behind me when I screech to a halt to take pictures. I can't do really rugged 4-wheel stuff, don't have the clearance... but I have loved my Subarus all three of them. The 79 was the best cause it was shorter and a bit higher, with it's rear end cocked higher too.
