I purchased it as H. rigida but was told it was not. No reverse reticulation in evidence on the backs of the leaves, so it's become another NOID. I think the problem started when I repotted it in the looser potting mix. This little plant loved the beating down afternoon Texas sun and seemed to prefer to be a little drier than most. The main stem which was of the "corky" type is shriveled and just feels funky It's rotting (?) from the point where the stem meets the leaf. . It just travels down the leaf until it drops off. I am assuming overwatered...Has anyone ever experienced this? Tomorrow morning I uproot it and start over with cuttings....what a shame.... I always dread this time of year. Susan |
