It's 2.65 acres on one of the cleanest rivers in VA. It's on the list of endangered rivers, and land on it is very hard to find - we got lucky. Look at the extensive fresh water marsh. One of the more abundant plants in it is wild rice. Won't that be fun to harvest and eat? Wild life is also abundant: Bald Eagles, Ospreys, Deer, Canada Geese, myriad ducks. Fish include Rockfish (in season) White and Yellow Perch, Blue and Channel Cat, Shad, Largemouth Bass and various sunfish. We can't wait! Best of all, it is only 45 miles from Richmond, my hometown.
