I was given my ric rac cactus a month and a half ago on March 15th. When it was given to me it had these two green buds on it and I was so excited because I was really hoping I would get to see it flower. Then I left for vacation at the beginning of April and returned at the end of April. I was sure I would miss them flowering. But here it is May 4th and they haven't changed at all. They are still green and waxy and I'm worried that it might not bloom after all. It sits in my dining room with most of its light coming from an east window, but some light coming from the south window in the living room. (We have a small apartment). I live in Wyoming and so until end of May or beginning of June I don't feel safe leaving it outside overnight because temps can still drop below freezing, but I could put it outside on our balcony for more light if I need to during the day. Help me help her be happy!
