Dogs do have an odor however ,and baths , perfume keeps it at bay for awhile .Bad tarter on teeth is a big culprit , but can eliminate that with a visit to the vet , and insure healthy gums that don't get infected , causing futher odor. I have two house dogs left out of seven I had at one time . Old age and health has taken it's toll . After 68 years of pets , it's time I don't take any more . They would outlive me now .
I had to take my precious Pepper for his last trip to the vet just 10 days ago , leaveing me one old dog who's days are numbered and a westie that keeps me a bit younger than my 74 (coming up ) years .
Like to add, the leash was until I could trust him not to run in the road when a car passed .
