That said, I found a tiny tan caterpillar less than half an inch long in my bathroom, and now I'm concerned our new place might have carpet beetles. My roommate's had this problem before, so we did some searching around and found this article:

...which mentions the tendency of the adults to cling to windowsills. Reading that made us cringe, because this beaut has been parked on the outside of our window since we moved in on Saturday. Any ideas? Thanks guys.
