Good Veronica... it's hard to photograph.. and get it.. it's a soft look to the variegation... and it's green on green.. ..I like the pop of the white / green variegation... at one point I'd wanted to limit all the plants in my garden to these only.. then I came upon the reality there wasn't a good variegated rose... then it was variegated and roses... till I discovered I couldn't get a plumeria that was variegated back then... [ now they have a few types ] then it became more of ones I liked... variegated or not... now it's apparent that there isn't any order at all .. except for the overgrown look to it.. as a theme...Perhaps in the next garden I'll have an area exclucively variegated.. and you'll not be able to see any that isn't... OH.. I guess a white/green varigated garden with all blue flowers.... if I make it difficult enough .. I'll not be able to find anything left to buy.. and I can wean myself of my addicition... HA HA HA this palce [ link ] in their extensive and wonderful garden is running a blue garden weekend sometime this fall... on of my enabling friends told me now how can i resist.. just tell me... http://www.mohonk.com/ This message was edited Aug 2, 2010 3:03 PM |
