14 inches at my house the past 3 days. Closer to Sweeny than Brazoria. My veggie garden is flooded as well as my flowers and fruit trees. I have 20 tomatoe plants that are producing that I was looking forward to canning, all underwater. My peppers are all drooping with large California Wonders still on them, dug potatoes today from the mud and got all I could before they start to rot, all my flowers and perineals are underwater. I don't think my fruit trees are going to be affected a lot as the water is draining from them this evening. The last time we got flooded was in 2003 and we survived as well as the trees and plants. Up until Wednesday, we were in a drought. the photo is of 2 of my greenhouses(shadehouses) under water. Fortunately, all the plants were on benches and did not get flooded. On the upside.............I won't have to water for a few days. We are all wearing rubber boots looking out for the undersireables.
