This winter I brought it inside in a darker room and watered very sparingly. Also I stuck into the soil two pieces that had broken off. Several weeks ago I took it outside and almost immediately it started developing the flower. the flower is on one of the broken pieces I stuck into the soil and apparently took root. It is really pretty even though I don't know what it is. I pruned back the older plant of its dead and soft sections (previous posting showing the Epis before and after). I hope this one has more blossoms. Xuling
