It almost appears to be decomposing. My first thought was the the first spider was eating the second, but the second spider is quite clearly attached to the back end. Were they mating?
Also, I'm not sure if you can see in the picture, but one of the first spider's legs appears to be broken, or at least bent at a strange angle around the second spider.
