The cuttings are placed dry and loose in the box and that's how he ships. The cuttings he sent were quite large and did survive,I just wasn't used to having things shipped to me that way. I have also bought from and been given plants by Susie and she sends very nice quality well rooted plants. Everyting I have gotten from her has been correctly labled and has performed very well. Tracey at Angels By Ashley also sends very nice well rooted plants, all being properly labled. She is currently offering L'Amour for sale and is the only U.S. source that I know of at the moment that has rooted cuttings of it readily available for sale. And her asking price of $40 is CHEAP,CHEAP,CHEAP considering how scare the plant is. I paid $70 for mine that I won on an ebay auction. The only other sources i've used for brugs is the members right here at Daves and BGI. In the spring and fall of each year you should be able to rack up on some cuttings as many of the members have excess that they need or want to get rid of. A lot of us do a cuttings for postage type thing about once a year so be on the lookout for something like that. Good luck brug hunting! |
