But the numbers have slowly reduced. Added to that, I'd left them out more in the open but partly sheltered by a small tree. Yesterday we had a long torrential downpour in the afternoon. It flattened the remaining seedlings but this morning, as you can see from the photo, they seem to be okay. So I'm still hopeful most of these will develop into mature plants.
