Mine was under the shade of a tree from about noon on, so maybe it needed more shade. I have it in Jim's shop and will try again with it next year. This plant got about three foot tall and had at least a dozen peach colored blooms on it right before our brug season was over. The blooms hadn't changed color yet when I took this picture. I had moved a lot of the brugs up by the garage for protection from the cold. Congrats on having a pod Kristi. Hope it will give you a seed or two that aren't lacking chlorophyll.
