It has brought so much joy to my life and gave us something so special to share all these years. As I young child I would pick (much to the neighbors' chagrin) every flower I saw on my wanderings to bring home to my Mother. I even raided a greenhouse at the end of our block when I was 7 years old and picked hundreds of carnations to bring to her on her birthday. Boy did I get in trouble for that one!
