Happy Birthday MOM!!

I just want to wish my Mom a very special 85th birthday today! My Mom is the one that gave me my love of gardening and my unending fascination with flowers. It has brought so much joy to my life and gave us something so special to share all these years. As I young child I would pick (much to the neighbors' chagrin) every flower I saw on my wanderings to bring home to my Mother. I even raided a greenhouse at the end of our block when I was 7 years old and picked hundreds of carnations to bring to her on her birthday. Boy did I get in trouble for that one!

Thanks Anna. I am going to see if my brother will show her this tonight. I think she will get a kick out of it. She got to know Dave's so well when I was back East so long this summer and fall. I set up the computer on the kitchen table and we would sit and chat while I would be on Dave's. I showed her lots of the pretty pictures.

My mom will be 80 on 30th of this month and just got married to an 83 yearold Frenchman, this past February 14, in Las Vegas, no less. I miss her. (she lived with me till then) (now they live 5 miles away, I still take care of them), and I never had a father, she was a single mom raising 3 of us. So, this was her first wedding and my first Dad..lol..

Tell your mom that she is very special cuz she is.. and the gardening thing must be passed on by moms, cuz I feel the same way..

Happy late Birthday to you--oh Mother of Kell :) Im sure it was a tough job-----------but someone had to do it. lolol to have an interest to share with your child---or with your parent is rare and wonderful, I hope you to understand what most ppl never have. I wonder if its too late for me to explore skateboarding and video games?---just cant see my sons suing flowers for anything but GF bait.
